This project addresses the global challenge of rising healthcare costs by employing data mining techniques, such as classification trees and clustering, to predict future healthcare expenses. By leveraging claims data from over 800,000 individuals, the study demonstrates the superior accuracy of these advanced methods compared to traditional models, enhancing both insurance pricing and healthcare cost management.
